Two Day National Conference 

“Geotechnical and Seismo-tectonic Framework around Nuclear Power Plant at Chutka Near Jablapur" 21-22 Nov, 2013

Dear All, 

The Global Nature Care Sangathan's Group of Institutions, Faculty of Engineering and Management, Jabalpur will be organizing a Two Day National Conference on “Geotechnical and Seismo-tectonic Framework around Proposed Nuclear Power Plant at Chutka near Jabalpur" on 21-22 Nov. 2013.

A Nuclear Power Plants has been planned at CHUTKA, MANDLA district near Jabalpur M.P. to generate 1400Mw power.  While this is a welcome decision by government of India but due to general lack of understanding and information, fear has gripped general public around CHUTKA and nearby areas of the tribal dominated Mandla, District in M.P.  more after the nuclear disaster at Fukushima in Japan. To alley such fears and generate a favorable and positive opinion about the usefulness of nuclear energy, Global Group of Institution, a premier engineering institute of Jabalpur is planning to organize a Two days National Conference on "Geotechnical and Seismo-tectonic Framework around Nuclear Power Plant at Chutka Near Jabalpur" 21-22Nov, 2013.
